|Spend this summer advancing your vocal technique and performance skills during a fantastic week at FSU’s Choral Ensemble Camp.
Vocalists study with FSU faculty in a large mixed choir, a women’s or men’s choir, and a variety of small ensembles designed to provide ensemble experience with personal attention. Daily Classes focus on sight reading, theory, diction and repertoire as well as elective classes in topics such as conducting and dance. The subjects taught in these classes are designed to give students a head start if they are planning to apply for a collegiate music program. In the evenings, students will participate in choral rehearsals and recreation activities.
All students will also take part in a music-theatre style finale performance – a dancing and singing extravaganza that concludes the Friday evening concert!
Optional auditions are also held for the Solo Recital and the Chamber Choir.
A limited number of students will be selected for these elite performance opportunities.
