INFORMATION SHEET- B.O.B. 2016
All students received a hard copy of this information on April 20th. These dates were also on the 2015-2016 Chorus calendar which was distributed in August.

All rehearsals are required. Students may be unable to perform if they do not attend rehearsals. Please make Mr. Kilpatrick aware of conflicts as soon as possible.
Volunteers are needed in many areas- concessions, ticket sales, etc. Adults with carpentry skills and adults willing to help with set-up and tear down are especially needed. Volunteers are also needed to assist at Tech Day on April 30th. Volunteer sign-up is available now at patriotchorus.org.
TECH DAY LUNCH
The Boosters will be providing pizza for all students on Tech Day. Students are asked to bring drinks, chips,
or dessert to share- consult the list below to see what to bring:
Concert Men- 1st Period: Cookies- 1 package/~2 dozen (store-bought is fine!)
Concert Women- 2nd Period: Coke/Diet Coke/Cherry Coke/Sprite- 12 pack of standard cans
Spectrum- 3rd Period: Chips- 2 bags, any variety
Patriot Singers WOMEN- 5th Period: Bottled Water (any brand)- 12 pack of standard bottles
Patriot Singers MEN- 5th Period: Cookies- 1 package/~2 dozen (store-bought is fine!)
Voices of Freedom- 6th Period: Bottled Water (any brand)- 12 pack of standard bottles
All students will need the following “costumes” for the show. It is always the intention that these can be assembled from what students already have. Soloists and ensemble members may be expected to find appropriate costumes. Remember, all outfits must allow for freedom of movement and should be in SCPS dress code. When planning your outfit, remember that you want to go for a dressy/classy look. Adults who
are interested in helping with costuming and other creative projects, please e-mail Mr. Kilpatrick.
REQUIRED FOR ALL SINGERS:
- Solid black pants (not jeans or skinny jeans or leggings- solid black dress pants)
- Ladies- Chorus character shoes; Men- solid black dress shoes, solid black socks
- Solid black top (no t-shirts, unless they have a button down over them)
- Accent pieces in the following colors. For women, this could be jewelry/hair accessories/
scarves/etc. For men, this could be tie/vest/other accessory.
1. Grand Night for Singing- dark shades of blue and purple (no lighter than royal)
2. 42nd St.- gold/silver/copper
3. Meet Me In St. Louis- white
4. Hairspray- 2016 B.O.B. t-shirt
COSTUMING FOR ENSEMBLES/CLASS NUMBERS
This information will be gone over at the first ensemble rehearsal or discussed in class.
BOOSTER RESERVED SEATS
Boosters are welcome to use their reserved seats for all three performances. Please make sure you indicate which performances you will use your Booster seats in the online form. You still are required to purchase
your tickets. The seats are reserved for your convenience.
BOOSTER RENEWALS 2016-2017
Current Boosters may renew their memberships at this time if they wish to keep their current reserved seats. All renewals must be received by Friday, April 29th. Boosters wishing to change seats for next year’s concerts will have first selections of the open seats. New Booster members will then be allowed to select seats based on the year of their student (senior, junior, etc.)
EARLY BIRD TICKET SALES
Use the attached form to pre-order tickets to this year’s show at the pre-sale rate. Ticket prices are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and senior citizens. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for students and senior citizens.
PROGRAM ADS & APPLAUSE
This year’s program will include ads for businesses or in support of a student or students. Pictures, business cards, etc. may be submitted digitally or in hard copy for scanning, as well. The program will be 8.5X11 and the ad rates can be found with the online order form. “Applause” are 150 character messages to singers and are $10.00 each.
